Ship-hull transport and accurate joint achieved by 20 axle lines TJ-S2.43 SPMT

A 20 axle-line TJ-S2.43 SPMT completed ship-hull transport and accurate jointing in a shipyard environment.

Twenty axle lines of the TJ-S2.43 SPMT have been in service at Wuchang Shipyard, where they are used to move pre-fabricated ship hull sections and bring them together for jointing.

Hull jointing is a positioning problem before it is a welding problem: two blocks have to meet within a tolerance far tighter than the transport itself demands. That is where the intelligent micro-movement function earns its place — it allows the operator to creep the platform in small, controlled increments instead of relying on the main drive.

The configuration delivered high working efficiency across the hull joint operation, and the same 20 axle lines remained in production service at the yard.
