Self-Propelled Modular Transporter (SPMT)
40 t / axle line · +130° / −100° electronic steering
Electronically steered self-propelled modular transporter for mega-structure load-outs.

Overview
HEAVYLT SPMT is a self-propelled modular transporter built for the movement and load-out of very large, very heavy structures. Each axle line is rated at 40 t, and the electronic steering system swings from +130° to −100°, which lets a single configuration operate in tight yards and still perform long, straight travel under load.
The platform is designed for mega-structure load-out work — projects where a single fabricated unit can weigh up to 16,000 t. Axle lines can be combined freely to match the load, and the attachment interfaces follow the common industry pattern, so bolsters, turntables and spacers from a mixed fleet can be used with it.
Key features
- Electronic multi-mode steering (straight, diagonal, carousel, crab)
- Modular coupling — combine axle lines to match the load
- Purpose-built for mega-structure load-out and heavy skidding interfaces
- Proven on historical-building relocation and ship-hull block transport
Applications
- Mega-structure load-out and load-in
- Historical building relocation
- Ship-hull block transport and accurate jointing
- Offshore and onshore module movement
FAQ
What is the loading capacity of a HEAVYLT SPMT axle line?
Each axle line is rated at 40 t. Axle lines are modular and can be combined to suit the load.
What is the steering range?
The electronic steering system offers +130° / −100°, enabling straight, diagonal, carousel and crab modes.
